He made every effort to listen and thoroughly explain my condition with empathy. More importantly I felt reassured by his professional insight and knowledge. He is definately worth the journey and has improved my quality of life.

I travel a 300+ mile round trip each time to see Dr Slade. I could easily transfer to a nearer hospital but I won't. I trust Dr Slade implicitly and I am very comfortable and confident that I am being looked after by the right doctor.

Dr.Slade has a bed side manner that put me totally at ease, I found his explanation of my condition both informative and able to understand, (some doctors talk to me as if I am a medical student). I would highly recomend Dr.Slade to anyone with concerns about their chest/lung condition who are perhaps nervous of hearing the results.

Dr Slade told me the facts of my situation in a very professional, calm, supportive and clear way. He has been brilliant at driving forward the next stages for me, for which I am very very grateful. I fully felt I mattered as a person and not just a number. I feel very reassured and lucky to have Dr Slade as my consultant during this difficult time.

I fear that my comments of 2nd May may not have been properly submitted and I am therefore repeating the substance of them here as follows. I found Dr Slade to be extremely considerate and helpful. He listened carefully to what I had to say and his advice was thorough, to the point and clearly expressed.
